After a disappointing weekend at the Super Chevy Show, Andrew Parise is more focused than ever for the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Assoc. race, May 1st at Virginia Motorsports Park. “We are ready.” Stated Andrew Parise . “It’s a new week, and we have put what we did not like behind us. We are ready to put some numbers on the board, like we know we can.”

Dina Parise did not participate in the Super Chevy event.“This is going to be my return to drag racing since my hand surgery and I am ready to get it done.” stated Dina Parise. “The recovery process has been long, so I am just ready to go!” said Dina. “I have been going to therapy three times a week, doing exercises at home and just working on getting my hand to work again and it has been extremely hard. But, being an athlete all my life, I have been injured before and this is not fazing me.”

Dina’s ’63 Tim McAmis Corvette and Andrew’s ’53 Montana Bros. Corvette are both running well. With Crew Chief Dave Jordan at the helm, the Parise’s are confident they will be going rounds this season.

Along with the celebration of Dina going back into the car ,the Parise’s are celebrating the official 2010 launch of both raising donations for the Wounded Warrior Project and their own “ Vettes for Vets” program at VMP. As part of the program (that will take place at each event Parise Racing attends), Parise Racing will ‘host’ Veterans, Wounded Warriors and currently serving Military Personnel as VIP’s for the day. Because the team cannot accomplish this on their own, here are the outstanding businesses willing to pitch in. VMP will be providing a suite, tickets, parking and special recognition for the guests. Lunch will be provided by Brother’s Pizza of Petersburg.

“We want everyone to realize that our Nation’s Military have put their life on the line so we can enjoy our freedom,” stated Dina.” For us to give them a day out and show them appreciation is nothing compared to them laying their lives on the line for us. We ask everyone that attends, if you see our guests, please stop them and say thank you. When you hear the National Anthem, kindly remove your hats; stand tall, proud and silent. Always.”
